A very warm welcome to the British Section!
We hope our new website will give you a flavour of what we think is so special about the British Section: not just the inspirational teaching and learning that takes place in and beyond our classrooms every day, but also the vibrant, supportive and inclusive community that has grown up around the British Section thanks to the boundless energy and goodwill of parents, staff and pupils alike.
Equally, we hope that the website will help you to understand what can sometimes appear, especially to newcomers, an overwhelmingly complex organisation: What is the externé system? What are the partner schools? Which entry route is most appropriate for my child: Français Spécial, Mainstream, Fast-track, Seconde Accueil? How much of the curriculum is taught in English? Which qualifications do students obtain? What is the BFI?
